Gaetano Pagnotta was born in Rome, Italy in 1951.

Master’s degree in Medicine at Rome University La Sapienza, with Laude, 1976.
 
Master’s degree in General Orthopaedics at Rome University La Sapienza, with Laude, 1979.
 
Master’s degree in Pediatric Orthopaedic at Milan University, with Laude, 1981.

Staff member of the Pediatric Hospital “Bambino Gesù” of Rome, 1980 to present.
