Biography
As Director, President, and Chief Operating Officer of a $30 million engineering services company, Sam Pederson was instrumental in building the firm’s reputation for responsive, high quality performance. Proven leader with executive experience in the high technology industry and in government contract acquisition and performance.
 
Sam both managed a successful company and coached over 60 executives, business owners, partners, and other professionals on how to grow their businesses, make more money, and live a more balanced, fulfilling life. His coaching experience covers manufacturing, service, distribution, software, and services companies, and he’s committed to helping company leaders grow their companies into strong, viable organizations with sustainable value.
 
Sam’s skills are in developing effective strategic and tactical business plans, managing day-to-day operations, and establishing employee and client trust, bringing superb communications, planning, customer development, problem-solving, leadership skills, and an excellent financial aptitude to coaching and consulting assignments. His technical background includes hands-on experience in software technology and engineering program management. Sam has also co-authored a software management book, The Software Development Project: Planning & Management (John Wiley & Sons, 1982).
 
For ten years, Sam operated chief executive peer advisory groups as a Vistage Group Chair through Vistage International. He facilitated monthly meetings of chief executive groups and coached each group member in monthly one-to-one sessions. To date, he has facilitated over 200 group meetings and held over 2,000 coaching sessions with leaders of companies with annual revenues of ranging from $4 to $100 million.
 
As an experienced Vistage Group Chair, business coach, and management consultant, Sam helps executives establish and achieve their goals. He facilitates annual planning retreats where owners, chief executives, and key executives develop clarity and consensus of mission, plans, actions, and responsibility.
