About Session 2: Chronic Osteomyelitis
This installment explores advanced clinical methodologies and surgical frameworks for treating chronic bone infections. The session features specialized introductory lectures detailing pediatric chronic management protocols, adult trauma surgical approaches, and plastic surgery soft-tissue reconstruction perspectives. Following the lectures, leading international experts present complex clinical cases focusing on infected pediatric non-unions, post-operative osteomyelitis following femur fractures, late-presenting infections, post-infective pathologic fractures, and challenging infected open fractures. The broadcast concludes with an expert panel discussion addressing key clinical dilemmas.
