Biography
Merideth Tall is the Founder and Chair Emeritus of Clipper Navigation, Inc. Clipper is the leading Pacific Northwest regional travel provider of transportation, tour, and hotel packages via Clipper Vacations, and operator of high-speed, Victoria Clipper passenger ferries between Seattle, Victoria, B.C., and the San Juan Islands. The company has served more than eight million customers since it began in 1986.
 
Tall currently serves as a Board director for Interferry, the leading international shipping association representing the worldwide ferry industry. She is an advisory Board member for Delphi Resources at the Ryther Child Center, serving young people with autism. Tall is a past chair of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Washington-Alaska Chapter Board of Trustees, Fred Hutch Holiday Gala, and Columbia Tower Club’s Board of Governors. She is a past Board member of North Seattle Community College Foundation, and founding Board member of the Center for Women and Democracy at the University of Washington.
 
Tall was honored as a Puget Sound Business Journal Woman of Influence in 2008. A third generation Seattleite and mother of five children, she loves spending any free time on Whidbey Island with her family.
