Biography
Suzette has 20 years of diverse industry leadership and management experience. She brings to her work strategic, creative and collaborative leadership, connecting human resources with business results. Her innovative solutions have led two companies to be recognized as one of Washington State’s 100 Best Work Places. Suzette received her Bachelor’s Degree from Carnegie-Mellon University and after moving back to Washington, she continued her graduate studies at Seattle Pacific University. Suzette holds Professional and Senior Professional Human Resources Certifications (PHR /SPHR/SHRM-SCP) with the national Society for Human Resources Management along with a Mediation Certification. Suzette has worked as a human resource executive in various union/non-union environments including aerospace, non-profit social services industry, private ownership companies, and the performing arts arena. Her current position is Vice President of Human Resources at Applied Technical Services in Everett, Washington. Always looking for opportunities to make a difference in the community, Suzette has served on the Board of Directors for Edmonds Center for the Arts and is currently on the School of Business Advisory Board for Edmonds Community College and Global Help Organization. She has also been involved in volunteer work with her local church and school, United Way, and Volunteers of America Dispute and Resolution Center.
